Grand Lodge of Iowa Receives Award

This photograph shows the award the Grand Lodge of Iowa received from the State Historical Society of Iowa for Outstanding Museum Project in the State of Iowa. This was for the preservation, presentation and exhibition of the Civil War flag that was given to us in 2004. The award was presented in Des Moines at the State Historical Building on May 8, 2006. Visitors to the museum and library can see both the award and flag on display.
