Grange Apron from the Collection of the Grand Lodge of Iowa This is an example of an apron worn by members of the Grange when attending meetings. The apron sometimes was accompanied by a sash (not shown) that was worn over the shoulder. According to the Manual of Subordinate Granges of the Patrons of Husbandry, “the plow embossed upon the Pouch is also an emblem of our order. It is venerable for its antiquity.” Submitted by Bill Krueger, Librarian of the Grand Lodge of Iowa.
